Fear the Ninja
A Ninja Poetry Slam by D.J. Kirkbride

Is you afraid of ninjas,
            little punk?
Bes’ say yes ‘for one kicks you
            in the junk.

Yeah, ninjas are plenty cool,
but they don’t follow no rule.
To a ninja, you’re just a
            silly, little, no good tool.
And for you not to fear ‘em
makes your punk ass nuthin’ but
one soon to be dead-ass fool.

Now, before a throwing star
flies at your head from afar,
Let me ask you one more time:
            Is you afraid of ninjas…
                        …after this scary-ass rhyme?
